Deploying Reliable Visibility Solutions
In this paper, we survey a considerable list of weak points and risk areas in RFID-based systems and we present a case study that describes a real-world scenario. We also discuss how to identify symptoms in such deficient systems through root cause analysis. Finally, we present a simple and sound approach to architecting reliable and effective RFID-based systems from the ground up to mitigate the occurrence of compromising events. Click to here Attend
The End of The Gold Loan?
New Financing Options for the Jewellery Industry
In 2005, TJS developed a proof-of-concept RFID-based solution to address the inefficiencies of gold loans to the jewellery trade. Early success prompted TJS to patent this model and engage partners in commercialising the concept as a secure consignment product and begin offering it to a gold jewellery industry in need.
Presnted at Arab RFID 2008 in Dubai, this presentation demonstrates the financing model created by TJS and its partners which aims to protect gold lenders and borrowers from the negative effects of gold price fluctuations.

Managing Data in the Information Age
Handling RFID and Sensor Data Explosion
How to manage the explosion of data in the recent years? How to control data while ensuring information maintains and increases value over time? How to turn the data overload into a competitive advantage instead of a strategic burden – these are some of the questions discussed in this presentation, presented at Cartes 2008 in Paris.
