Standard of Proof

Daily stock takes using the ZeroShrink RFID tracking software greatly reduces the window of fraudulent events or disappearances going unnoticed. The ability to know exactly what is missing and from where, eliminates delays in gathering crucial evidence and filing insurance claims. Request a Presentation

Tracking as a service (TaaS) facilitates RFID adoption in retail

Tracking-as-a-Service (TaaS) provides an alternative deployment model for item-level inventory tracking that makes the benefits of RFID more affordable to jewelry businesses of all sizes. Rather than buying and maintaining expensive servers, and RFID hardware and software, jewelers can simply pay a modest monthly subscription fee. The monthly or annual subscription fee is often less than the loss it prevents, so jewelers can quickly earn a return on their investment in TaaS. Request Presentation

Mobile RFID for High-Value Inventory

Proven to Achieve Zero Shrink

Most RFID solutions require fixed RFID scanners and the purchase of various expensive hardware equipment. This approach involves high capital investment and is unwieldy for most jewelry retail environments, especially in the small to mid-size jewelry stores that dominate the market. Presented at Smart Event 2010 in the French Riviera, this presentation demonstrates how managed-service mobile RFID provides an effective inventory control approach that is cost-effective and has proven to reduce jewelry shrinkage dramatically. New Frontiers in Retailing, RFID

Is your POS using the optimal tracking technology?

While barcode scanning has a key role at the checkout counter and with POS systems, it was not designed for fast inventory tracking. Hence, average jewelry inventory counts are conducted once or twice each year.  This panel will address how RFID tracking makes daily counts possible, can reduce shrink and best leverages POS systems. Trusted Track and Trace

Deploying Reliable Visibility Solutions

In this paper, we survey a considerable list of weak points and risk areas in RFID-based systems and we present a case study that describes a real-world scenario. We also discuss how to identify symptoms in such deficient systems through root cause analysis. Finally, we present a simple and sound approach to architecting reliable and effective RFID-based systems from the ground up to mitigate the occurrence of compromising events. Request Presentation

The End of The Gold Loan?

New Financing Options for the Jewelry Industry

In 2005, TJS developed a proof-of-concept RFID-based solution to address the inefficiencies of gold loans to the jewelery trade. Early success prompted TJS to patent this model and engage partners in commercializing the concept as a secure consignment product and begin offering it to a gold jewelry industry in need. Presented at Arab RFID 2008 in Dubai, this presentation demonstrates the financing model created by TJS and its partners which aims to protect gold lenders and borrowers from the negative effects of gold price fluctuations. Request Presentation

Managing Data in the Information Age

Handling RFID and Sensor Data Explosion

How to manage the explosion of data in the recent years? How to control data while ensuring information maintains and increases value over time? How to turn the data overload into a competitive advantage instead of a strategic burden – these are some of the questions discussed in this presentation, presented at Cartes 2008 in Paris. Request Presentation
