Jewelers Can Link Zeroshrink RFID Tracking To Their Pos Without Integration
Boston, May 26th, 2011 - TJS (USA), Inc., provider of the world’s best-selling RFID tracking software for jewelers, announced today the release of its TJS POSLink. POSLink is a software adapter that allows ZeroShrink users to link to their POS (Point of Sale System) without the need for integration. The adapter is initially available for select POS-for-jewelry-systems and will quickly be available for new ones as the market demands. ZeroShrink users can add the POSLink adapter for only $199 or Free if the adapter has not been developed before.
POSLink enables jewelers to leverage the data that resides on their POS, eliminating the need for entering inventory data twice. It also updates the POS data into ZeroShrink automatically and in near real-time. The adapter resides on the InSite, TJS’ RFID tracking appliance, and connects to the POS’ database over the network. “We’re seeing more and more jewelers adopting ZeroShrink because of their immediate need for more efficient inventory tracking; POSLink serves this need and allows jewelers to start receiving the benefits of RFID tracking for jewelry and diamonds right away”, said Johnny Hazboun, CMO at TJS.
“When we first launched ZeroShrink, jewelers who wanted to use ZeroShrink in tandem with their POS found it difficult to have to constantly update ZeroShrink after every POS transaction, so we created POS-specific adapters to help automate the process”, said Adrian Prezioso, CTO at TJS. “Now we see that jewelers are willing to adopt the product sooner because it is plug-and-play. Also, as they become more familiar with the technology they can determine what functions to integrate, if any”. Every function in ZeroShrink is delivered with an Application Programming Interface (API), which makes integration with any POS possible and easy.
ZeroShrink Classic Edition starts at $999; to order call 1 877 4-0-SHRINK, or visit www.tjs.com for more information. JCK 2011 attendees can also see live demos at booth# B6282. In addition, CEO, Gabriel Nasser will be presenting at the “How RFID can Help You” JCK session on Saturday, June 4 at 4:30pm.
