Device Link is middleware that allows applications to easily communicate with scanner, printer and weight scale devices. It acts as a link between an application and the devices that are connected to the business owner’s PC. Applications talk to devices by sending basic commands through Device Link and by receiving responses such as tag scans or measurement data.
Device Link launches automatically as part of the end-user application and provides a simple menu interface for device configuration, management and troubleshooting.
Device Link is available through the internet for easy installation and zero
maintenance. Applications that integrate Device Link launch it from the Cloud and install it automatically upon first use. Subsequent launches will download and install updates automatically as they become available.
